Yess! Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten dirty looks from ‘natural girls’. I wear my hair straightened because that’s the look I feel compliments my personal style the best..its NOT because I’m insecure or not in-tuned with my roots.

And the fact that you receive dirty looks simply because of the manner in which you wear your hair is what’s problematic to me. Perpetuating division because of hair is so petty to me, and it goes both ways. Saddening.
