anditmanifests asked: I hate hair conversation. ALOT of black women have insecurities and self hatred when it comes to beauty. But I would like to mention how annoying it is that every time a black woman makes a step it is politicized. We cant straighten, dye, add extensions or even manipulate our hair without someone making a stink. A wigless day is "revolutionary". Our bodies are "statements". We cant do a damn thing without some kind of commentary. Hard out here for us to just be seen as human.
