Anonymous asked: hair is just hair. people take advantage of the natural hair movement to group themselves, to fit into a trend, to feel like they are better than those with "processed" hair. they fail to realize that non-processed hair does not remove a processed mind. we all should be free to do whatever we want with our hair without dealing with judgement.

Yess! Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten dirty looks from ‘natural girls’. I wear my hair straightened because that’s the look I feel compliments my personal style the best..its NOT because I’m insecure or not in-tuned with my roots.
