Serious question. How natural do you have to be to “love” yourself? If living in your natural state suggests true self-acceptance, does this mean wearing make-up is a sign of self hate? Are tattoos an indication of one not loving themself since it’s body modification, altering the body’s natural appearance? If someone dyes their natural hair are they still considered “natural”? And how do you measure if someone loves themself or not? By their mere appearance? In the words that they speak? In the actions they commit? Is there some kind of “self-love measuring tool” being sold at Walmart that I’m not aware of? Because… I just wanna know. I need these questions answered.

does wearing clothes mean you’re ashamed of your naked body? does picking your nose mean you discriminate against your boogers? does shaving your arm pits mean you detest the naturally-occurring biological processes? does pepperoni make you a pizza?
